About the Full Moon Party
Born in the late 1980s as a small backpacker gathering, the Full Moon Party evolved into a community-run celebration—bars, stages, artists, and vendors each contribute their own music and vibe along the beach. Today it attracts up to ~20,000 party-goers at peak times, with multiple stages/DJs, fire shows, UV body-paint, food stalls and a sunrise finish.
